What sort of questions can you ask to confirm understanding? List and describe three types of questions

To confirm understanding teacher can ask many types of questions including, Multiple choice questions, Closed ended questions, even divergent questions(also called open ended questions) to encourage many answers & generate greater contribution

Although there are many other types of questions, generally three types of questions are asked by the learner/student,

1) Proximity Questions : When the teacher is close, these questions are asked.

2) Stop Thinking Question : The term itself suggests that such questions are being asked when the learner has no idea about the thing & generally these are in form of "Is this right" .

3) Keep thinking Questions : Based on the concentration over topic, it is natural to arise such kinds of questions where the learner is actually trying to get in depth knowledge of particular topic.
