Nominal data:- the variables are just a name, by which we can
Classify (categorised) the data.eg- colours(red,blue, green etc.), Name etc.
Ordinal data:- variables exist in ordered categories. eg-size of the shirt(XXL, XL, large, Medium etc.), Grade etc.
Quantitative data:- data about numeric variables, that can be counted. eg- age, length etc.
