Here multiple questions posted and i will solve first one
1)We use pv formulae in excel to find the value of the BMW
=pv(rate,nper,pmt,fv,type)
purchased by me:
rate=6.5%/12
nper=60
pmt=735
fv=0
type=1
=PV(6.5%/12,60,-735,0,0)=37564.88
the value paid by Sally here is
rate=5.5%/12
nper=60
pmt=735
fv=0
type=1
=PV(6.5%/12,60,-735,0,0)=38479.33
The value i got and the sally is different because of change in
interest rates charged for both of us is different. She got worse
deal than me because the credit rating score is better for her than
me so she should pay less amount than me but in this case she is
paying more than me which she is loosing. I advice sally not to
purchase car from that dealer as the monthly payment for her needs
to be lesser than 735
