Linear Equation is a problem equation that various number of careers use to solve the allocation problem. For example, Financial planner use it for budget allocation or determining prices. In construction field it used for measurement and cutting the materials. An engineer can use linear equation for the measurement of current, voltage etc. Linear Equation includes two or more variable and it is plotted on a graph to form a straight line.

For example, Y = 2X + 1

In the above equation, Y increases twice as fast as X. So, 2X in the equation.

Secondly, Y is 1 as X is 0. Therefore, to equate the equation we need +1.  

Suppose, X =2

Then, we substitute the equation by:

Y=2X+1

Y=2*2 + 1= 5

So, if we consider the finance problem of investment allocation, we can use the linear equation.
