What are limitations and strengths of a one way ANOVA
Strength:-
i) one way anova (analysis of variance) is a statistical technique by which we can test three or more mean equal or not of the sample (using F distribution).
ii) And then if we get the result is significant i.e all means are not equal then we performed a paired t-test to identify which treatment is different for which mean is not equal.
Limitations:-
i) This technique only can be used for only for numerical response data.
ii) For anova test sample must be independent each other otherwise anova test failed.
iii) For anova test we assume that the data in the groups are normally distributed, if the data are not from normal distribution anova test will not provide accurate answer.
iv) Another limitation of anova test is that it assumes that groups have same or very similar standard deviation.
What is the major difference between a one-way ANOVA and a two-way ANOVA? 1)A two-way ANOVA has more power 2)A two-way ANOVA uses the same participants across conditions 3) A two-way ANOVA does not look at the interaction effects 4)None of the options

Which of the statements about one-way ANOVA is FALSE?The purpose of one way ANOVA is to verify whether the data collected from different sources converge on a common mean.ANOVA deals only with one factor, such as treatment or group. It is used when there are two independent variables in the experiment. There can be any number of levels in one-way ANOVA.

Which of the following is an advantage of a two-way ANOVA over a one-way ANOVA? The denominator of the F-test is increased None of the options Power is often increased The generalization of the results is enhanced
III Qu What does the term "one-way" signity in the phrase "one-way ANOVA? Choose the correct answer below. O A. It signifies that the ANOVA compares the means of a variable for populations that share one common population mean. OB. It signifies that the ANOVA can be performed for multiple populations, but those populations cannot be inferred by the results. OC. It signifies that the ANOVA compares the means of a variable for populations that result from a classification by...
