In healthcare where professionals working with children, elders and other vulnerable people are required to report a abuse when they see them on above people by state and federal laws.

Mostly nurses report are seen in reporting the statues.

Statues are mostly consists of abuse towards children and elderly and medical neglect towards children and elderly.And when violence occurs towards the people the medical professional are required to report them.They are legally required to make a report if they say abuse or neglect towards people.

While reporting statutes the reporter should meet the conditions such as they should have faith towards their suspicion that the person's injury is due to abuse.

Even the abused and the family is not willing to make a report it will not effect your power to report it yourself.And if you are not able to make the report aganist violence then you could face professional disciplinary actions by the state of nursing board and also lose your certificate along with criminal prosecution.

So the medical professional should watch the patients and Information should be gathered and proofs are collected if a person is abused and should be reported.
