Case 1. A high school senior to a school counselor: “My dad told me the other night that I looked relaxed. Well, that’s a joke. I don’t feel relaxed. There’s a lull right now, because of semester break, but next semester I’m signed up for two math courses, and math really rips me up. But I need it for science since I want to go into pre-med.” Empathic response. Question probe. Statement probe. How might it help the client move...

Hi I am writing my thesis in Overleaf and I do have all the page numbering fine throughout the thesis. But on the to left corner of my title page there is a "0". (how to enter it in BA2 plus calculator) I have $72,000 in my bank account today. The bank manager told me that I will have $100,000 money in five years if I keep the money in this account and don’t touch it (meaning that I won’t withdraw from it or don’t add more into it). The account pays me daily interest. What is the APR for my account?
I also think it is very important to be transparent and have exemplary communication skills. Years ago (well now that I think of, time flies, I think I will say many years ago). I worked for a large organization as a manager. The organization was struggling financially (at least in their eyes) and for my division, it became known that there was a "layoff list". I became privy to that list somewhat accidentally as someone left it on the copier...
"I have spent my whole life taking care of others. Now someone else has to take care of me. I feel so useless." How would the nurse respond appropriately to this statement by Carrie? And why?
How do I nicely explain to my daughter while I am not trying to live through her as I adopted her and her 2 brothers wanted to be a part of their lives? She ran off with an older guy, and found out he is married and has been married before. Now, she has found out as she is pregnant he wants to travel to see his older daughter while she is 7 months pregnant cannot go to the daughter....
I think I can pinpoint my confusion a bit better. Here comes my updated question (I'm not sure what the standard way of doing things is - please let me know if I should delete the old version). The major change is that I removed focus from the third question which probably is a purely mathematical question (in the notation below, it asks what properties of (M,T) together with (M,T) being consistent, forces (M,T) to be unique.). Say that a...
