Wars often end up with victims with multiple injuries both for the winner or who lost.It is necessary for a medical help to treat them immediately to save their life. But who will give a care which can rehabilitate them and recover them to lead a normal life again. Here comes a nurse to nurse them.It was the "lady with lamp" who cared for the injured. There started the profession of nursing and its importance in the medical field. A provider cannot  stay with the patient for a longer time whereas a nurse can do it.Initially the nurse were found in the camps and armybto serve sick.Gradually overtime the nurse were found in every places from a clinic, primary care center, hospital, community centre, rehabilitation center, old age home, home heakth care services.

The need has been growing day by day in the society from a need of a nurse to an most advanced nurse practitioner based on the changes in the society and due to professional growth.
