Convictions are based upon the absolute truth. They are believed to be founded on the truth related to the knowledge behind a matter. Convictions are common for all under religious realms and they are considered to be unchallengeable. Convictions cause the distortion of the reality. In comparison with the beliefs the convictions has the stronger role.
Convictions are used for reflection of the certainity, probability and opinions. Truth can be reflected with the help of convictions. Opinions can be modified easily under the availability of the fresh information on the matter. They are very much tentative. They are challengeable too. Opinions are completely different to the convictions.
According to the Nietzsche, turbulent in history is caused by the convictions. Convictions have the negative impact. They are proven to be more dangerous in comparison with the opinions. They are enemies of the truth in comparison with the lies. Convictions are the reason behind the sacrifice of the countless human’s life during the history.
