In this problem, the inflow in column 3 of Table 11.8, that is used in Example 11.8, represents streamflows at the site of the reservoir system of Example 11.7 shown in Fig. 11.10. Rerun the model with no instream flow requirement. Rerun the model again with the instream flow requirement doubled to 40 million m3/month. Compare the irrigation and hy­dropower revenues generated under these three alternative scenarios. In addition to economic revenues, volume reliability defined by Eq. 7.48 is a useful measure of water supply capabilities. Determine the volume reliability for the irrigation diversion from the results of the three simulations.
