Electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) of the polypeptide chain of myoglobin yielded a series of m/z peaks (similar to those shown in Figure 5.21 for aerolysin K). Two successive peaks had m/z values of 1304.7 and 1413.2, respectively. Calculate the mass of the myoglobin polypeptide chain from these data.
