There a geographic maldistribution of the physician labor force in the U.S because of, the country’s current demographic breakdowns, as the growth rate is rapid and so is the aging. From 321 million to 359 million the U.S. population is projected to grow 12%, and the portion of the population that is aged 65 and older is expected to grow 55%. The aged people require more of healthcare services as they suffer from chronic diseases.
