Passive smoking is just as harmful and can be a risk factor in cardiovascular disease.

Diet plays a very important role in CV disorders. Junk food has been an influence to many youngsters of this generation as they are inclined to ordering out, taking aways. Work and sedentary lifestyle has to be blamed for the emerging trend of consuming junk food.

Life modifications that can prevent Cardiovascular disease,

1. The first point would obviously be to quit smoking. It is not only involved in heart diseases but also causes Oral and lung cancer.
2. Healthy Lifestyle involving exercise and healthy food. Switching to salads and home made food is much healthier that eating outside which use way too much oil, which isn't always of the good quality. Exercise helps in overall well functioning of the body.
