Nutrition including foods that contains all the macronutrients( carbohydrates ,proteins ,fat ) and micronutrients ( vitamin and minerals) ,antioxidants ,fibers in proper proportion help to prevent development of the age related problems associated with alcohol use .
For example - Having vitamin A containing food like Carrot, Alma, etc in the diet , will prevent the changes in vision which is a age related problem associated with alcohol use.
Eating almond daily in the morning helps to prevent memory loss which is again a age related problem associated with alcohol use .
Antioxidants containing foods or beverages like wine ,green tea ,carrot etc helps to prevent cancer which is also a age related problem associated with alcohol use .
