Airbedandbreakfast is also known as Airbnb was found by two roommates Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia later join by Nathan Blecharczyk. Actually, the idea came in the mind of Chesky and Joe who could not afford the rent for their apartment. The idea of putting an air mattress in their living room and turning it into a bed and breakfast. As Nathan joined as the Chief Technology Officer and the third co-founder of the new venture, which they named AirBed & Breakfast.

Features-

(a)- Lodging- Guests can search for lodging using filters such as lodging type, dates, locations, and price. Users should provide personal and payment information before booking. The company also provide travel guide, entitled " Neighbourhoods", which provide details about staying in specific neighbourhoods in various major cities.

(b)-Hosts- Hosts, provide price and other details for their rental or event listings. Pricing is determined by the host, with recommendations from Airbnb. In the US, homeowners who refinance their mortgages with some agencies are able to count income they earn from Airbnb rentals on their refinance loan applications. Hosts may require to report income and pay income taxes on income they received via Airbnb.

(c)-Safety mechanisms- Airbnb is specifically "designed for trust" and provides a variety of safety mechanisms, including US$ 1,000,000 of secondary insurance, which covers property damage by guests due to vandalism and/or theft, and connection to multiple social media channels.

Websites and mobile apps are the tools they use in their marketings. Airbnb belongs to the Lodging Industry having headquarters in San Francisco that operates an online marketplace and hospitality service which is accessible via its websites and mobile apps. Members can use the service to arrange or offer lodging, primarily homestays, or tourism experiences. The company does not own any of real estates listing, nor does it host events; as a broker, it operates only through its website and mobile apps.

They are working effectively by involving collaboration with the consumer is key to their success. Their foremost priorities are consumer satisfaction which I think is the only success mantra they are following. I think they are working most efficiently.

Others collaborations mean they could utilise are given below-

(1) they can use the newspaper for their advertisement purpose.

(2) they can use social media to get in touch with their consumer, social media is a place where they can collaborate with numbers of a consumer.

(3) they can build a partnership with tourism resorts and place where people can get in touch with them and can use their services.
