1. What are the therapeutic uses for androgens?

2. What are the dangers of using androgens when they are not indicated for therapeutic use?

1.Androgen is a male sexual hormone. So, mainly it is used as a replacement therapy for boys with less androgen production, to stimulate puberty in boys, who are late to begin naturally.. Also, used in females to treat breast cancer.

2 may cause liver toxicity, leads to severe heart failure , trigger benign prostatic hypertrophy etc.
