Generating traffic : The biggest challenges faced by B2B marketers is generating the right type of traffic to their official website. There are many ways to generate traffic and effectiveness of each approach will vary depending upon the night are of operation.
Connecting with website users : The greatest B2B marketing challenge is to identify who makes up the traffic to our website, what are their problems and how we can offer solutions. If we were unable to learn the background and intent of visitors to our website on their first visit ,then it will be difficult to provide the solution .
Maintaining data integrity : Audience is a moving target. They get promoted and change their title .Apart from that due to many reasons minor changes are drastically alter the segments in which they are bucketed. As a B2B marketer it is difficult to tailor right messaging when you have inaccurate or incomplete data. Without knowing your buyer it is difficult to engage with them in a meaningful way.
Aligning marketing and sales : Marketing and selling function are two different and separated entities. The main goal of marketer is to generate qualified leads and sales personnel is inundated with prospecting buyers and closing as many deals. In modern time B2B marketers are having trouble to make both the teams in a same page.
Ditching jargon : If website reads like it was too mechanical no one will engage with the contents. If website is full of jargon then it would be difficult to read and hard to understand. No relationship can be made and no connection can be established. Finally the buyers are likely to get bored and look else where .
