In many countries nursing care delivery systems are excellent in providing their enormous services for the benefits of patients. In some countries and hospitals the delivery care systems are poor that has to be changed completely. At emergency or critical times where patient needs immediate attention and care, nurses have to inform a doctor take their medical advice, wait for his arrival at the spot and then the treatment will start to save the life of a patient. By seeing this example even if the patient is going to die nurses are not having any legal authority to prescribe medications to patient by using their critical thinking and problem solving approach.

But other countries like US nurses are having free rights to deliver nursing services without any barriers or in the absence of doctor they can take their own decisions.
