1.Define circuit training : Circuit training is a process of shaping and strengthening the body with high intensity aerobics.Circuit is referred to as completion of exercises preferred in one programme.

2.Benefits of circuit training

  • Loss of Body weight
  • Release of growth hormones for the body development
  • Provides muscle strength

3.How many times can circuit be performed.

Circuit can be performed for two times a week.Circuit contains certain set of exercises which can be repeated 10 to 12 times in a week.

4. Two basic types of circuit training

  • Timed circuit : This is a type where exercises can be performed during a certain time frame having a rest at regular intervals.
  • Competition circuit: This is a type where an individual can work maximum according to their strength and energy levels.

Repetitions can be done in 10 to 12 times for each set according to the strength of the person.

6. Define Body composition : The percentages of fat, proteins, bones, muscles that are present in the human body are considered as body composition.
