Healthcare sector is a wider area where this just culture is practiced and followed strictly. It is also called as value supportive model. The main value of them is to protect the staff individually. An error can occur in a system so a sole staff cannot be fully responsible for it.In order to prevent these types of errors especially medication error in healthcare sector, the just culture was established.
Not in all places a just culture can save a staff for commiting mistakes intentionally or without an active thinking which leads to malpractice and damages or injury to a patient. Hence it is important to hold individuals accountable for their action.For eg. A surgeon if does a wrong surgery on wrong patient and at wrong site is accountable for their actions.
