ETHICAL NURSING PRACTICE :

Ethical practice is defined as practicing of some principles by the nurses to follow autonomy, justice, fair towards patient. Nurse has to follow code of ethics as their professional dignity and should not show any partiality towards any patient.

ETHICAL NURSING FRAMEWORK :

Ethical nursing framework are formed according to the system of principles, which has to be maintain to differentiate between good and bad. It includes-

* Egoistic approach

* Common approach

* Duty base approach

* Justice approach

* Good approach

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LEGAL AND ETHICAL NURSING PRACTICE :

Legal nursing practice is the one which is based on hand written laws. All the nursing practices should be made and documented in a legal form to avoid further legal cases a raised from patient side.

Ethical nursing practice is the one where standards of practice are based on human rights that is either good/ bad or right/ wrong. Wrong perception of things can cause to serious damages to patient health.

ETHICAL AND BIO ETHICAL DILEMMAS :

Ethical dilemmas is other wise known as moral dilemmas, which has to be made choice in between two options which will solve the problem in a acceptable way.

FOR EXAMPLE: Nurse thinking to take credit of others hard work for her promotion. Even though due to her ethical values she want to choose a solution which can solve a problem. She can handle the situation by accepting thee hard work and her values and rejecting the wrong path way which leads to disgrace of her profession.

Bio ethical dilemmas are connected with questions of human regarding to health, rights of health and wrong in the health care departments.

FOR EXAMPLE : Nurse family member are admitted in the hospital for illness, who is at last stage of cancer. During the process of treatment doctor has finalized she will not live more. In this situation nurse wants to hide that information from her family members, from being hurting by the news. Decision thinking is altered and the acceptance of right or wrong is forgotten by the nurse. This situation can be handled by saying truth to family members by accepting the right pathway without any secondary thought to avoid mic conceptions.
