1.The following precautions in regards to the ferrous sulphate container are

  • Keep it out of reach from the children, to prevent accidental ingestion
  • Store in cool and dry place,direct exposure to sunlight can alter the chemical composition and destroy the effect of the medication
  • Open only before consuming the pill,long exposure to external environment can oxygenate the medication and can act as a source for infection
  • Do not place wet hands,to prevent melting of the tablet

2.Ferrous sulphate is used to treat anemia and only the recommended dose to be taken. An excess dose can lead to overdose and symptoms related to it.This can need a medical help.

3.Iron medication generally cause constipation this occurs because of the absorption capacity. Iron is best absorbed in the presence of vitamin C so consume vitamin c rich food to prevent constipation.

4.The following safety plan required are

  • To keep it in an heightened place or in a medication chamber or shelf, so that it is not reachable to the child.
  • Do not consume tablet in front of child ,because the child is in developmental change and often mimic parents and others actions
