I need a response to the discussion below.

Part 1:

Women experience higher rates of abuse or intimate partner violence because of a long history of societal gender "roles" and "norms". Women were traditionally/historically looked at as homemakers who serve their male partner or husband. Men were traditionally considered to be the head of the household and women were to listen to them, even if they were being abusive. Women often did not speak out about being abused because they were afraid of the consequences from their abuser and/or afraid of being judged by society or viewed as weak. A women can move on from her situation by seeking help through a women's center, counseling, etc. These strategies may give the women the tools she needs to leave the situation, or a women may see herself as weak and undeserving of a better life and stay with the abuser. In my opinion, if a women is abused and immediately abuses the abuser back, then it is self-defense. Everyone is entitled to the right to defend themselves. If a women is sporadically abused and begins to also sporadically abuse her partner on different occasions, then she too could be considered an abuser.

Part 2:

LGBT women are more likely to experience challenges because they are often misunderstood or feel that they don't have a place in society where they are fully accepted. Some people may not be open to the LGBT community and believe that members of the community do not have the same rights as other people. Possible solutions would be incorporating more LGBT awareness into schools and communities, and encouraging people to mind their own business and not be so quick to judge others.

(PLEASE TYPE YOUR RESPONSE) THANK YOU!

Answer #1

Part 1

This discussion describes the importance of status of women who can be and are usually abused by their male partners for many years. Womens were suppressed to be in the home and serve her husband and family and follow what is being ordered to them. If they come out of the home and expose this then those women are subjected for being abused and fall under criticism of the society. Similarly if a woman attacks back causing some injury in that case she can be either taken in a place for self defense or else for being amm abuser herself.

Part 2

This discussion describes about the physical and emotional trauma of a LGBT women who has a large number of challenges in the society and are often questioned in the community. The only way to prevent this is by creating awareness to the population. This can enable them to treat the LGBT women with respect and dignity given for other normal individuals in the community.
