Answer 1) Alfred Hitchcock is regarded as one greatest movie producers of all time. Most of his creations were thriller movies, some of which still thrill us and keep inspiring the latest producers and directors. Alfred Hitchcock was also famous for using several monologues themes which could be ascertained to only his line of thinking and projection of the scenes. Let us see three of such themes which were also put forward in the Vertigo.

One of the themes that Hitchcock was very fond of and put it exactly the same way in most of his movies was the supernatural and paranormal activities being shown by the Green light. He has shown the same green light to denote the undefined in many of his movies. IN the Vertigo also we can see a glimpse of it when Judy walks through the green light being possessed in one of scenes. Another theme very commonly used by Hitchcock was the appearance of Birds. Hitchcock was fond of birds and depicted bird scenes in his movies in different ways. In the case of Vertigo too, we can see a few of such scenes when beautiful birds are shown flying n the midst of thrill scenes. Another of Hitchcock’s common themes was the uncertainty or mistaken identity among the characters. The characters in his movies would get mistaken or fooled by the identity of another character. In the case of Vertigo too, we see the same.

Answer 2) Hitchcock’s representation of women characters in his movies has mostly been negative. In maximum of his movies, it is the women who were the villain at the end. It is a common belief that the women characters in Hitchcock’s movies were mostly not inspiring and in the negative light.

Judy and Midge are both characters which are very bold in themselves. Both the roles have been very nicely depicted by the actors. The characters of Judy and Midge have not been shown in the positive light and the film does not promote such characters, nor it wants us to like them. They have been inserted as a thriller plot in the movies.

Answer 3) James Stewart’s performance in The Vertigo has been praised throughout the world. His character was player so brilliantly that many of the younger people during the days of the movies were highly inspired by his character. James performance was superb, and he has truly depicted the obsessive nature of an ex-detective, who is now in fear of height’s and is in search for the ideal girl of his dreams. James has more so, played his character very well, because such a psychopathic character is not an easy one to depict on the scenes, put together with passion of a normal man and the wondering eyes of a lover who is in search of his soul mate.
