Damien Johnson, RN, BSN, graduated from university 10 years ago. Three years ago, he decided to continue his education and applied to an accredited nurse anesthesia program. He successfully completed the program, passed the national certification exam, and was hired by a small-volume ambulatory surgery center. Mr. Johnson performs his work well and enjoys it. He works with an anesthesiologist but is the only certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) on staff. He recently realized that as a nurse anesthetist, he has a limited number of professional contacts with other nurses employed at the center and that because the surgery center requires only one nurse anesthetist, he will not have many opportunities for interaction with peers and on-the-job educational opportunities. He is starting to feel dissatisfied.

A:1)American Association for Nurse Anesthetist is an association or organization that helps in career development of CRNA.They conduct program and events like Assembly of did active and clinical educator gives them updates in the newer treatment and one can grow up their peer groups and profession.

2)He can get his professional support from the organ where he is working ( Physician, Matron, Nursing supervisor, Nurse Manager) or else he can enroll himself as an assistant nurse anesthetist in a hospital

B:1)Internet can act as a source of information,.Apart from this the nurse educator in hospital can help her

2)The nurse educator and the continuing nursing school program in hospital will help her to know the rules and regulations ,her role.Usually the chapters of Joint commission will be briefed by the clinical educator in hospital.. Attending these lectures can make herself prepared for future accreditation.
