Answer: The medical term for a, "floating kidney" is Nephroptosis. It is a condition where the movement of the kidney increases i.e. it moves from its original position. Many symptoms are related to it such as hysteria, weight loss, urinary tract infections, kidney pain etc.

The major symptoms includes:

  • abnormally rapid heart rate
  • blood in the urine
  • severe flank pain that comes and goes
  • production of urine in less amount
  • nausea and vomiting

Along with this many other complications may occurs such as kidney stones, high blood pressure etc. The diagnosis can be done to know about the particular disease as by testing the blood and urine, sometimes blood will be found in the urine.
