Using anatomical terms and medical terminology, describe the urinary process and name two conditions that affect the urinary system. Please write clearly thank you
Urinary process
* The process of formation of urine include three steps
* Glomerular filtration.
* Tubular reabsorption.
* Tubular secretion.
Glomerular filtration
* Kidney is the organ in the body to filtration blood for removal waste substances and
formation of urine.functional unit of kidney is known as nephron.
* Nephrons consis of glomerulus which is a network of capillaries surrounded by a cuplike
structure known as bowmans capsule.
* When the blood flows through the glomerulus due to blood pressure water and solutes in
the blood enter into capsule through capillary membarine.
Tubular reabsorption
* In this phase filtrate formed after glomerular filtration enter into the renal tubules and
it's 99% reabsorbed through active or passive processes into the blood circulation.
Tubular secretion
* In tubular secretion movement of materials from blood enter into the tubular fluid occur
and the secreted irons combined with remaining filtrate result in formation of urine.
* The urine formed during tubular secretion flows out of the renal tubules via collective
duct.
* From the collective duct urine flows through renal pelvis into ureters of the renal system.
* Ureters carry urine to the urinary bladder from the urinary bladder urine expelled out
of the body through urethra.
* Name of two conditions which affect urinary system
1. Acute glomerulonephritis
* It is the acute inflammation of glomerulus due to certain infections and systemic
disorders.
2. Nephrotic syndrome
* It is a primary glomerular disease characterized by proteinuria,hypoalbuminemia,
edema,high serum cholesterol and hyperlipidemia.

Create a dialogue using terminology...use terms, tests, pathological issues - consider a conversation, how would you describe something to a patient, how would you instruct a fellow caregiver on how to do something. Example: My patient has dysuria, resulting from having bladder cancer. She will have a urinalysis done to determine if she needs to have a cystoscopy. Give it your best shot - when you answer 2 of your classmates, respond in medical terminology appropriate to their discussion.
