The status of the nutrition and the lifestyle of the women during the preconception, conception and post conception determines the health status of the mother, foetus and neonatal health.

The Mexicans have much influence by the Spain and most follows most of the culture of Spain. The dietary practices which is followed by the Hispanic women after giving birth are as follow:

- in ancient days it included only chicken, burned tortillas, coffee and stole. No cold items were allowed to take.

- in recent or modern days the restrictions have slightly CE down as the diet has been changed and also includes milk in it.

- they are restricted to eat chilli, spicy food, citrus food, cold food, fish and pork and greasy food.

- they include plants and herbs in their food such as anise, cinnamon, cilantro, comino, lavender mint and rosemary etc.

- vegetable stew of carrot, squash and purple potato is taken.

- beans at the last week of cuarentena is introduced in the diet.

- meat especially bone broth is given.
