Pathophysiology of Rheumatoid arthritis involving multiple sites.

           * Rheumatiod arthritis is an infammatory condition begin as a autoimmune condition in which

              immune system of our body attack our own cells .

           * It primarly affect the synovial membarines of joints in the body due to the phagocytosis caused

              immune system results in production of enzymes within the joints.

          * The enzymes breakdown collagen result in edema,proliferation of synovial membarine and

             granulation tissue formation.

          * Granulation tissues destroys cartillage and make defects in structure of bone so the joint

             become loss of articular surface and motion.

          * Ligaments and tendons elasticity and contracting become lost and muscle fibers undergo

             degenerative changes.

          * Inflammation of multiple joints result in difficulty in movement and misalignments.
