The usage of person first language for ex addiction which signifies someone with substance use disorder rather than more stigmatizing term addict.

So placing the person first and disability in second can very well positively influence the images and impressions we or society form for them.These words like addict,abuser terms makes no distinction between the person and their illness,which is the main reason for losing one’s humanity and dignity. and also, they lose hope in any change in their illness or environment.

Thus, use of person first language is required.
