a. As per the medication label, add 140 ml of diluent (water) slowly and shake vigorously to make it 200 ml suspension

b. As per the medication label, when added 140 ml diluent to the bottle, the resulting concentration will be

200mg Erythromycin per 5ml

c. The prescribed dose = 500 mg

dose in hand = 200mg

amount in hand = 5ml

Amount to be administered =dose prescribed x Amount in hand dose inhand

=500xS 200    = 12.5 ml
