Answer #1

ANSWER.

7) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required .

Volume(ml) = Desired dose / Dose in hand * Quantity.

   Here

       Desired dose(D) = 2200 unit.

       Dose in hand (H) = 3000 unit.

          Quantity(Q) = 1 ml

As per above formula

      Volume(ml) of drug required = D/H * Q

                                                    = 2200 / 3000 * 1

                                                    = 0.7 ml.

8) Calculation of volume(ml) of drug required.

         Formula

            Volume(ml) = Desired dose(D) / Dose in hand(H) * Quantity(Q)

   Here

        Desired dose(D) = 20 mcg.

        Dose in hand (H) = 0.1 mg

Convert 0.1 mg to mcg

               1 mg = 1000 mcg

       So

            Dose in hand(H) = 0.1 * 1000

                                       = 100 mcg.

      Quantity(Q) = 1 ml

As per above formula

        Volume(ml) = D/H * Q

                            = 20/100 * 1

                            = 0.2 ml.
