Ans) Least restrictive environment: to the maximum extent appropriate, children with disabilities, including children in public or private institutions or other care facilities, are educated with children who are not disabled, and special classes, separate schooling, or other removal of children with disabilities from the regular educational environment occurs only when the nature of severity of the disability of a child is such that education in regular classes with the use of supplementary aids and services cannot be achieved satisfactory.

- When included in large scale assessments children with disabilities are also included in policy decisions based on assessment results
only by measuring how well the educational system is doing will we clearly identify the needs of students with disabilities and then fill those gaps.
- When children with disabilities are included in assessments, teachers are encouraged to use appriorpate teaching strategies and resources to help them to meet the high expectations set for them
