He has hypertension and a history of alcohol and cocaine abuse. He is homeless and is currently living at a local homeless shelter. He reports that he is out of his amlodipine 10 mg which he takes for hypertension. He reports he is abstaining from alcohol and cocaine but needs to smoke cigarettes to calm down since he is not drinking anymore. Post an explanation of the specific socioeconomic, spiritual, lifestyle, and other cultural factors associated with the patient you were assigned. Explain the issues that you would need to be sensitive to when interacting with the patient, and why. 1. If you stop drinking or smoking do u get hand shakes/feel sick or any physical changes ?

.Best treatement can be given to get rid of alcohol withdrawl

2.have u noticed that your abuse impacted ur relations like friendship/family ?

.psychological counseling should be given.

3.how dependence impacted your job or any daily life activities ?

.dependence can be addressed by therapy

4.do u believe in god and do u think its guilty for smoking or drinking alcohol ?

.if he is guilty we can help him carving for the abuse.

5.have u ever stopped drinking or smoking and if yes ..why do u think it was unsuccessful ?

.lack of proper treatment and fear of withdrawal symptoms could have relapsed the issue.
