She is currently taking prenatal vitamins and takes over the counter Tylenol for aches and pains on occasion. She has a strong family history of diabetes. Gravida 1; Para 0; Abortions 0.

Answer: As in the above mentioned case, the patient is having vaginal discharge. It shows that she has good socioeconomic status and healthy lifestyle. As she goes for annual check up and doesn't have any health complications. Although, the lesbians in the society are not equally treated, here the women is self concerned. She has a good health and healthy pregnancy.

The issues which could be sensitive while intervening with the patient as to ask about the cultural environment she is living and does her family knows about the donor sperm and pregnancy. Does she is mentally prepared to face the society?

The questions that need to be asked:

  • Does her partner have any sexual disease?
  • What kind of food or diet she used to have?
  • Involvement in physical activities such as exercise?
  • Does she had any STD.?
  • Any complications or had any disease earlier?
