Many criticize the United States for not intervening in the Rwanda genocide. In your opinion, what responsibility does the United States have in intervening in human rights violations overseas? United states has following responsibility in intervening in human rights violations overseas:-

1. US has primary responsibility to protect its territory from the effects of human rights violations abroad.

2. It encourage and assist the members countries abroad in controlling the human rights violations.

3. If it does not satisfy, then it can provide training and weapons funded by American taxpayers to police and army forces .

4. In case it has to take support of other countries like European countries then it should if it is beneficial for affected country.
