A condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone.
It slow downs and change certain body processes.it affect metabolism, mental functions, energy level and bowel movements.
Medications are synthetic thyroxine such as levo-T, synthroid and liothyronine.
Hyperthyroidism
The overproduction of a hormone by the thyroid.
It speedups the body processes, metabolism and experience nervousness, anxiety, rapid heart beat, sleep problems.
