Answer #1

- India is a country where there is a flow of religious and cultural practices. Every street and corner in India is filled with temples or churches or mosque. Every person has an immense believe and faith in their god and expects their fellow beings to be the same. Despite of the law which states that the people of India are free to choose their religion or their belief in God (indicating positivity in the suggestion of being an atheist) , the people or the society are the major influence here. An individual can choose to be an atheist in India but the treatment he receives from the people around would be based on his choice of what kind of atheist he wishes to be. About a large population of India are functionally atheist where they will keep their beliefs within themselves and do not bother to project themselves but few people are there who would like to project their opinion and their ideas about the religions and their beliefs which will make the people outrageous. Hence, if an individual with such belief will participate in the religious related festivals and enjoy despite of their beliefs because if they try to avoid it then some people may understand, some may shocked and most of them will be outraged.

- in my opinion, the slogan stating "the god probably doesn't exist, now stop worrying and get on with your life" probably is a statement given by an atheist because they usually try to prove that everything happens with a scientific reason and not with a spiritual power. The individual might have given such statement after many encounters where God would have been blamed or resented for their misery or problems. The people will put all the blames as well as praises on God for all of their deeds. Hence, this statement was made in order to prevent the people from mourning over their misery and blaming the god for it and to move on and do the hardworking and that God cannot do everything for them and that they will have to help themselves to get good results.

- many atheist maintain that they do not believe in God because there is no evidence that the god exist. In my opinion, every individual have their rights to have their own beliefs and faiths. But for me I would like to ask a question to those people- what do they think about the oxygen that they breathe in? Does it exist or not because no one has seen or touched the oxygen. The people should not question the belief of other people with just a statement stating there is no existence because there are presence of many other things in the world who they think are present but cannot prove its existence. I believe in the existence of the god because I believe he does exist it all depends on our believes and our faith that decides our religion and our beliefs on God. it is not only for blaming or praising the god that we worship him but it is for getting a sense of inner peace, sharing our thoughts, our feelings, our sins, pouring out our love towards him does not need the proving of his existence.

Hence, my opinion on existence of God is always about my belief and faith in him and not my greed of getting something.
