1) The American Nurses association was very clear on the nurse staffing regulations to prevent mortality rate ,falls,and improving the quality of care.Some of the reason that ANA supporting their position are having a staff committee, mandating specific jure to patient ratios,disclose the availability of the staff. ANA support a legislative model where nurse can make plan in staffing.

2)The benefits being financial stability or gain when a non RN staff are reduced to the healthcare organization. The consequences being overloaded work,stress, decrease in quality of care delivered by the nurse

3)The federal regulation wants the hospitals certified to get Medicare which can be enacted to have adequate number of Registered nurse,Licensed practical nurse.The regulation can reduce the number of mortality ,falls,provide safety and improve quality of care.
