1. Wound culture sample should be taken before the start of antibiotic therapy. even 48 hours later after antibiotic therapy if there is no improvement in the wound infection, one more sample need to be collected.

2. Broad spectrum antibiotic means that it is active against both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It is used inempiric therapy when actual casuating bacteria is unknown.

3. Ampicillin, Amoxycillin, Tetracycline, Chloramphenical, Ampinoglycoside etc.

4. 600 mg of clindamycin is effective against MRSA 3 times a day. No need to change prescription
