Culture as it affects the perceptions of health, illness and the different beliefs about causes of any disease, and it governs the approach to health promotion.

Education as healthcare education makes us more conscious about our health issues and the associated beliefs and practices by making us more adherent to the interventions or upstream processes.

Religion has a very vital role to play in influencing health values, beliefs, and practices as our religion makes us more conscious of the gift of God i.e. health and thus makes us more responsible in making efforts to maintain good health and stick to treatments if required and the kind of intervention that people opt for is based on their religious inclination, for example some may opt for abortion others don’t, some may opt for mercy death others don’t.
