DIAGNOSIS:

The bilateral lesion can be diagnosed with the help of MRI scan or CT scan.Usually the Angiography is also done to see the veins and arteries of brain. The lumbar puncture is also examined to assess cerebrospinal fluid or commonly called CSF for the disease, hemorrhage or unusual proteins. And after that the blood test is also performed.

Prognosis for sustaining and retrieve from the bilateral lesion mainly rely on the origination. Most of the bilateral lesions are having reasonable to bad prognosis due to injury and demolition of group of cells in the cerebrum is regularly indefinite. But many of the individuals are able to decrease their indications with recovery.

Some of the bilateral lesions are having healthy prognosis,in case if a little quantity of not so much essential cerebral tissue is included and initial intercessions are wealthy and one of the example is Transient ischemic attack.
