Nurses are Advocates for their patients, colleagues, and communities for their informed decisions regarding their health and illness it helps them to make decisions. It is most important for patient care and helps patient to ensure their safety regarding their treatment plan, educate them in the importance of medication, it informs them about their rights and avoid errors, involve a patient with different resources like finance, network, etc... Nurses have an important role they keep connect with other health care professionals. Vulnerability includes inequities in health care, risk, and illness. The vulnerable population includes poverty, low income, minority population, homeless and chronic illness patients. This advocacy also includes students to participate in this activity plan. Advocacy can change a person's opinion and eliminate disparities.
Policy in advocacy involves early detection, mitigation, treatment and rehabilitation in disease and risk management. The policy provides the population to follow a set of rules, laws, regulations, action, practice, and incentives from the government and private sectors.
Stakeholders involvement for shared vision, plan, action and learning for vulnerable population help in different option like a counselor, educator, cost controller for their treatment process and prevention of illness. Stakeholders are the practitioners, decision makers, planners and caregivers in practice, research and education.
