Answer: The lateral violence in nursing occurs when there is conflict between employees. One of the most common lateral violence occur is blaming. Some of the employee blame others for their own mistakes. This reduces the quality of care provided to the patient. It also disturbs the working environment of organization. To deal with this, it is important to have documented every work performed by the professionals. This will reveals about the particular performance of employees and hence will reduce the blaming process.
