3. Other causes of this condition includes, AIDS, anxiety, diabetic ketoacidosis, craniocerebral trauma, spinal cord injuries, cirrhosis, cholecystectomy, seizures etc.
4. This condition can also be a result of respiratory infection and pleural causes.
Nursing interventions-
1. Position patient properly alligned for maximum breathing efficacy
2. Encourage and demonstrate sustained deep breathing patterns with help of spirometer and yawm pathways
3. EValuate and encourage muscle training for the patient
4. Suction the secretions is necessary to provide clear airway
