Two nursing Theories:
Peplau's theory:
This theory is based on interpersonal theory for nursing. It
defines nurses and patient relationship shows through orientation,
identification, resolution, and exploitation. Peplau insists that
nurses personality develops through their education, practice and
interpersonal communication. this theory focuses on health care
professionals who work in mental health.
Parse's theory:
This is for nursing practice, focuses on the quality of life on the
patient. nurse practice their work in both bio-medical, bio-psycho,
social, spiritual approach. It insist on the goal of practice for
nurses. it becomes a human becoming theory. it teaches the nurses
to practice their work as a human-universe process, value
priorities to show reality through lived experience. This nursing
theory focus on the environment situation teaches the experience,
health is an open process and becomes valuable by adopting science
for evidence it improves knowledge to work with the patient. It
makes different nursing from other disciplines and makes guidance
for education and administration.

-Both theories focus on the nursing process with a unique lived
experience for nurses.
- Gave valuable guidance for education for nursing standards.
-Both theories provide an idea for life through health promotion
for patients in nursing practice for the day to day life.
