Older adults who don’t have teeth used to avoid food which is hard and need chewing... so the avoid eating whole grains fruits vegetables and meat.so there is greater risk is older people to get nutritional deficiencies.

Diet of older Americans generally do not supply adequate amount of vitamin A,D and fibre. True statement. As they avoid the high fibre diet fruits and vegetables meat and whole grains due to difficulty in chewing... the vitamins get deficient I their body.
