1. The survey process for nursing home is for the following points :-

-Study how well the staff takes care of the resident

-They focus on how residents nutritional, physical, social, emotional, social, and spiritual needs are met

-interview residents and families, and observe the staff interactions with residents and the care given

-Surveys are one reason why documentations done by NA is so important

-Surveyors use F-Tags that identify specific federal regulations to note any problems

#. It is important for those nursing homes that partipate in Medicare and Medicaid because it is the Medicare or Medicaid which is paying for the services provided on behalf of the patient . To ensure that the services are worth the nursing homes that partipate with Medicare and Medicaid needs to be surveyed.

2. Life safety code is the most widely used source for strategies to protect people based on building construction, protection, and occupancy features that minimize the effects of fire and related hazards.

The primary objective of the Life Safety Code requirements is to minimize harm to humans and that's why it's important .

The Life Safety Code survey is conducted in accordance with the appropriate protocols and substantive requirements in the statute and regulations to determine whether a citation of non-compliance is appropriate. The nursing home should respond to LSC survey deficiency by providing the list of corrections made and actions taken to be taken to the LSC survey team .
