ANSWER :

1. IMPORTANCE OF NURSING PROCESS IN NURSING : Nursing process is important in the nursing profession to provide a qualitative health care services to patients. Nursing process is one of the systematic problem solving method which is used to identify the patients needs as well as health care needs of family and patients by using of nursing knowledge and practices. In the nursing it includes certain steps which are useful to provide better health care services to the sick people, they are - Assessment, Diagnosis, Goal, Planning, Implementation, Rationale, and Evaluation. All these steps are important for the nurses in formulating nursing process and to achieve a desirable goal during patient care.

FOR EXAMPLE : If a patient is admitted in the hospital with the complaints of high blood pressure, then the nurse has to formulate the nursing process using the six steps where each and every step is important to provide nursing care to patient and to evaluate the result of the care. If the patient is recovered after using of all the measures then the care plan has to be modified with better nursing care services.

2. Cultural competency is important in the health care system especially for the nurses as they have to provide the health care services according to the cultures, social beliefs, customs, language, traditions in order to decrease health care disparities and to improve the health care output to the patients. FOR EXAMPLE : The patient who is suffering from HIV infection wants to hide that information from their respective family members, it is the responsibility of the nurse to protect the information from the family as a part of her nursing ethics, by doing that she is holding the trusting relation of patient and breaking of the social beliefs are avoided.
