Answer #1

Ans) The Paul Gann Blood Safety Act became law in California on January 1, 1990, mandating that patients be informed of the risks and alternatives of blood transfusions.

Risks for a person receiving blood can be divided into several categories, which include reactions due to incompatible blood types, allergic reactions, and infections in the donated blood. By strictly adhering to standardized procedures, these risks have been reduced to a minimum. So acting this way the anxiety of patient will be reduced.

The patient can recieve blood from Only O positive blood. Whole blood donation and double red cell donation are both highly recommended for your blood type. They can donate to all A+, B+, AB+, O+ blood types but can receive blood from other O donors.
